Knowing Your Business Umbilical Cord

Posted on

All businesses have a key source that feeds them and keeps them growing and alive!

When you cut off the umbilical cord to your business it dies, and sometimes this happens really quickly depending on how mature your business is and how long you have been in business.

It is critically important to determine what are the key activities that keep your business alive and thriving.

In our business we have 2 critical items that keep us thriving:

1. How many people are in our 2-hour Introductory Evening Seminars – these evening events feed all our other seminars and without them being full our business would start to slow dramatically. The evenings are truly at the top of our sales funnel.

2. How many people we have at our BEST Mindset monthly Introductory Sessions – without these session full we do not add the membership required to grow the groups.

So, now we know what we have to do to ensure our business is always growing we have to examine what needs to be done on a daily basis to ensure that the above 2 points are easily met.

For us, it’s doing offline networking at well selected networking events and also doing online networking (Social Media). We know we have to attend at least 12 networking events a week to have enough people attend both our introductory Sessions!

If we do not do the required networking, we do not get the people out to our Introductory sessions and this ends up being a domino effect all the way down to the bottom line results of the business!

What are the critical items that you should be doing in your business?

What are your umbilical cord activities that keep your business alive and thriving on a daily basis?

And!!! Are you doing them daily?

It is vital to figure them out for your business. Once you do, filling your sales pipeline and staying alive and thriving becomes a lot simpler!
